Blending design, neon color, and photo realism, “Zlata Praha” is a representative piece from Graves’s Eclecticism series. His line art is drawn by hand, then colored and arranged digitally, producing a precise, yet warm, effect. A resident of Gordonsville, he works at the Graves International Art Gallery (currently relocating to 306 Jefferson Street in Charlottesville) and has produced work for regional bands such as Soul House Revival and Threesound. His work will be on display in Richmond at The Broadberry, an open house is scheduled for September 4 from 5-8 PM. To see more, visit jackgravesiii.com.
